GIS in Transportation

LDG uses GIS in transportation for asset management and inspections. Some of our more powerful solutions include the use of model builder and 3D. We have created models to intersect the drainage areas, land use and hydric soils then calculate the acreage for each unique occurrence within each drainage area. These models save hundreds of man hours per project. We also Use GIS to show 3D fly through as well as an over view of the project area. You get to experience the true scope of the project and the benefit of overlaying layers such as lands use and drainage areas. Other services include but are not limited to base mapping, mapping for public meeting, traffic analysis, routing, onboard solutions, mobile applications, and web applications.
