Words of Mouth
Working with LDG has been a win-win situation for the James V. Brown Library. They bring to the table all the creative design and technical engineering and architectural expertise needed to create a handsome, enduring building. They listen, they learn and they make the building work as a service as well as a structure. That's a unique combination.

Description
The aptly named Valley View Nursing Center was originally a 240-bed, long term nursing care facility owned by Lycoming Community Care, LLC. Fifty-eight beds were taken “offline” from various areas throughout the facility, and the new capacity is 182 beds. The offline space was converted into much needed multi-purpose dining, recreation, lounge and activity areas. The major advantage was the conversion of two large central nursing stations into common space and placement of individual nursing stations on each wing closer to the residents.
Another major feature was the conversion of one entire nursing wing into the eight Independent Living Units and the addition of an outdoor covered pavilion. The Woods Edge residents have their own private entrance and parking area. Each unit is individually furnished and available in one of four color schemes.
