A True Community Center that Accommodates Activities for All Ages.
Serving expanded community needs, the building is very versatile, including a gymnasium, game room, library/museum, pre-school room, arts studio, classroom, fitness/cardio room, dance studio, kitchen, multi-purpose room, senior center and horseshoe courts. The Mitsubishi variable stage heating system provides energy-efficiency.
We provided architectural, structural, mechanical/electrical/plumbing, and site design services for the new, 19,400 sq. ft. community recreation center. The building is a standard pre-engineered metal building with a stone entry vestibule.
There was no center in the community before. Many people came together in hopes creating opportunities for teenagers. It grew to include seniors, children and the rest of the population. Although active recreation was the first consideration, the concept was expanded to educational, social and cultural opportunities. The end result is a true community center that strives to assess and meet the needs of all ages and incomes.
