Addison Wastewater Treatment Plant
Wastewater Treatment Plant Rehabilitation Village of Addison, NY
$3.2 Million Rehabilitation to Upgrade this Facility to State Requirements.
The Village of Addison retained Larson Design Group (LDG) to assist them with project scoping and funding applications for a $3.2 million wastewater project to update the existing facility. The improvements are needed in order to bring the 33 year old treatment facility up to code and meet New York State Department Environmental Conservation (DEC) requirements. These upgrades include rehabilitation of the anaerobic digester unit, replacement of a sewage pumping station, installation of a stand-by emergency generator and a mechanical bar screen.
Other improvements include raw sewage pumps, clarifier mechanisms, trickling filter recirculation and HVAC upgrades. LDG has also been retained to assist them with engineering needs for the water supply and treatment system, streets and drainage problems within the village.
