Rupert Covered Bridge Production Donated Across the State of PA into NY

WILLIAMSPORT, PA – Covered Bridges are an important part of our bridge building heritage here in Pennsylvania. Larson Design Group, headquartered in Williamsport, PA recognizes the cultural and economic importance of these unique structures and has produced an interactive and informative CD that highlights the rehabilitation of one of these bridges, Columbia County Bridge #56, also known as the Rupert’s Covered Bridge.

In effort to raise the public’s awareness of the importance of covered bridges, Larson Design Group has, and will continue to mail out complimentary copies of the CD to public, private and university libraries, county commissioners and university engineering departments across Pennsylvania and into lower New York State.

The production includes animation, video interviews of  the county commissioners and the Larson Design Group engineers involved with the rehabilitation as well as a day-to-day time lapse of the actually construction. One can also find several photo galleries that have been individually labeled and captioned.
