Preparing for Compliant Distribution
The construction of a new 190,800 square foot distribution center for Grizzly Industrial, Inc. was completed on a 10.97 acre parcel located in Muncy Township, Lycoming County. The site was vacant, but a computer chip manufacturing plant used to be located on site. Remediation efforts for contaminated groundwater were finished, as per permitting requirements enforced by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
The new distribution center site has employee parking, truck bays for loading/unloading of goods, a fire access roadway around the building, site landscaping, and associated stormwater management facilities. Larson Design Group provided a feasibility study, erosion and sediment control, and stormwater management design services for the project.
