Landscape Architecture

Landscape architecture practices the art, planning, design, preservation, and management of landscapes and the built environments around them. Like the growth of a plant, good landscape design extends itself into the built and natural environment around it – forming a holistic, aesthetic impression on users. Specializations within the practice address long term care and development of a landscape, including soil conservation, stormwater management, urban design, parks, and other facets of public infrastructure.
