Matt Sanfilippo

Matt brings over 25 years of experience in applied technology, innovation, information technology, Geographic Information Systems and more to the LDG board, which he joined in 2016.

He currently serves as the Chief Partnership Officer (CPO) for the College of Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, a role in which he coordinates, grows and integrates the College’s external partnerships across all its primary constituencies, including corporations, government agencies, foundations, donors and alumni. Matt is also the Executive Director of the Smart Infrastructure Institute (SII). 

Matt received a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from Pennsylvania State University. He serves as Trustee and Member of the Board of Directors of the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation.
