Amber Oyler, an expert in environmental management services, has joined Larson Design Group as the environmental services group manager in its Energy Division in Pittsburgh. LDG is a nationally emerging architecture, engineering and survey firm with offices in four states.
In her new role, Oyler will provide environmental compliance services for LDG’s high profile oil, gas and alternative energy clients in the areas of wetlands, erosion and sediment control, and site restoration.

With 11 years of experience, Oyler previously was an environmental manager with Pennsylvania General Energy Company. In that role, she developed strong relationships with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the PA Department of Conservation of National Resources, the Allegheny National Forest and others.
Oyler will be based in LDG’s Wexford, PA office, which has seen a surge in accolades of late, most recently as the recipient of the Engineers’ Society of Western Pennsylvania’s prestigious Innovative Project of the Year award for the CNG Transit Fueling Public-Private Partnership program in partnership with Trillium CNG on behalf of PennDOT.
She received a Bachelor of Science in environmental science biology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania in 2002, and a Master of Science in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University in 2007.
