Duane Gaugler, PE, has been promoted to Office Leader of the Selinsgrove office of Larson Design Group, a nationally emerging architecture, engineering and survey firm with offices in four states.
A transportation project manager with 17 years of experience, all with LDG, Gaugler has led the design of more than 50 bridge replacements across the Commonwealth for clients such as the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and local municipalities in Columbia, Union, Tioga, Bradford, Sullivan, Montour, Northumberland and Lycoming Counties.
Gaugler’s new role coincides with the Selinsgrove office’s recent expansion from 5,500 sq. ft. to 9,300 sq. ft. The new configuration will enhance teamwork and idea exchanges by providing more than 40 potential work spaces and stand-up meeting areas. It also includes new design finishes, a large conference room capable of housing the entire office, and other modern amenities. The Selinsgrove office is a multi-discipline team and is home to LDG’s civil engineering, transportation and retail design groups as well as corporate service team leadership.
“Duane is a proven leader and will help steer our multi-disciplinary Selinsgrove office as we continue to grow and serve a wide range of clients in the region,” said David M. Martin, PE, chief operating officer of the firm.
Gaugler received his bachelor of science in civil engineering in 2000 from West Virginia University.
