Daniel C. Baker Associates, Inc., a Larson Design Group Company, has a new home at 300 South Walnut Lane, Suite 202 in Beaver, PA.
Larson Design Group (LDG), a 280-person engineering, surveying, and brand architecture firm headquartered in Williamsport, PA, acquired Daniel C. Baker Associates, Inc., in March 2014. The new downtown Beaver office will improve and expand upon the firm’s ability to provide engineering services to Beaver County and surrounding communities.
Daniel C. Baker Associates, Inc., opened its doors in Beaver in 1890 and maintained family ownership for four generations. Craig Baker has continued on as Principal for the firm.
According to Keith Kuzio, President and CEO of LDG, the new office is a part of the firm’s plan to grow its operations in the region while maintaining the quality of work and personal touch that clients have grown accustom to receiving from Daniel C. Baker and Associates.
“The history of Daniel C. Baker Associates, Inc., in this region is rich, and we look forward to celebrating the 125th Anniversary in 2015,” Kuzio said. “As our firm grows, it is important to us that our clients continue to see our commitment to maintaining small firm values,” he added.
LDG entered the Pittsburgh market with the opening of its Cranberry Township office in 2012. The combined entities have twenty-seven employees regionally.
“Between our Beaver and our Cranberry offices, LDG and Daniel C. Baker Associates, Inc., have made huge gains in the Pittsburgh-metro markets, and we plan to continue offering our excellence in engineering design for years to come,” Kuzio said.
Founded in 1993, LDG provides innovative design solutions for the private and public sectors. With 11 offices in five states, LDG continues to expand services in a number of different disciplines to its clients.
