What was your first job?
Taylor Rental & Party Store

What did you learn from it that still influences the way you work today?
It was a very tough, fast-paced work environment that required quick thinking and the ability to provide good customer service even while under pressure.

What’s been the proudest moment of your career so far?
Building a highly capable team here at LDG and watching them blossom into great leaders in their respective roles.

What trait do you admire in people and why?
Teamwork and humility. Teamwork builds trust, relationships, and the drive to make things better.  Humility to realize that you’re not perfect, that you can’t do it all yourself, and to gain an appreciation for those around you.

What advice would you give to people who hope to follow a career path similar to yours?
Each time I left a job to pursue a new opportunity, it was for less pay and recognition, but I gained something far more valuable—knowledge and experience. Combined with a good work ethic, a positive attitude, and a little time and patience, knowledge and experience will present more opportunities than you ever thought possible.

What do you enjoy about working at LDG?
The opportunity to work with so many talented folks and to have a real impact in helping our clients and company grow.

What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I LOVE CEREAL, all types and flavors, and I eat it morning and night. I even own stock in General Mills!
