On April 6th, Larson Design Group hosted a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Education Day at our headquarters in Williamsport, PA. This event brought together representatives from the natural gas industry, public transportation providers, and the Clean Vehicle Education Foundation to discuss how we may be able to use locally produced natural gas to provide a cleaner and more affordable fuel source for fleet vehicles.
Events like this are just one of the ways Larson Design Group is helping to proactively engage the local community in a discussion on responsible Marcellus Shale development to provide significant long term benefits.
The Marcellus Shale is forcing many business owners and local governments to rethink their operational strategies. Within our own company, we have changed our traditional design approaches by creating an Energy Department that combines engineers, surveyors, and environmental specialists focused on meeting the needs of energy clients. In doing this, we are able to be more responsive and can standardize our services to provide specialized and consistent deliverables.
We believe that CNG has the potential to develop as a viable alternative to gasoline in this region. Larson Design Group offers surveying, site/civil engineering and mechanical/electrical/plumbing/structural design that supports this development.
