Larson Design Group, a New Player in Columbus’ Retail Design Market, Taps Drouhard to Lead Local Office

David Drouhard, a 25-year retail design veteran, has been named leader of the Columbus office of Larson Design Group, a nationally recognized architecture, engineering and survey firm with 10 offices in four states. The firm’s Ohio office already has secured design contracts and actively is seeking to add more experienced architects and engineers.

The firm has designed hundreds of stores across the country for national brands such as Party City, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, CVS Health, Sneaker Villa, Tuesday Morning and many others.

With decades of experience serving national home improvement store brands, Drouhard is building LDG’s retail design presence in Ohio and nationally in the big box, tenant improvements, restaurant, grocery and hospitality markets. His experience includes managing complex multi-unit and prototype programs for some of the nation’s best-known brands, ranging from Sears, Home Depot, Eat N Park, Lone Star Steakhouse and Perkins restaurant chains. Other popular brand clients he has served during his career are Walmart, IKEA, Dave & Busters, The Limited and McDonald’s. He presented “How to Increase Value Out of Existing Portfolio” at the 2015 SPECS, a conference bringing together the nation’s top retailers and suppliers to learn, share ideas, develop business partnerships and solve problems.
