LDG Board Chair Nichols Named Among PA Business Central’s 2017 “Women Making a Difference”

Pennsylvania Business Central has named Larson Design Group board chair and chief financial officer Brenda Nichols among its 2017 “Women Making a Difference.”

The honor shines “a spotlight on women whose tireless work provides the bedrock of a strong community,” write the editors. This year’s 36 honorees were selected from nominations by readers. The nominations were submitted to the St. Francis University Business Development Center for the final selection. This year, each selectee was asked, “What is one quote or piece of advice that always seems to affect your decision making?” See all winners: http://www.pabusinesscentral.com/news/2017-10-13/WMD

In her first year as LDG’s board chair, Nichols is one of the few women leading the governance of an architectural/engineering firm in Pennsylvania. The 280-person, nationally emerging LDG has 11 offices in four states. As CFO, she provides financial leadership, oversees corporate and governmental compliance and uses her extensive knowledge to provide direction and supervision for long-term strategy development.
